The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA ®) Program is a globally recognized standard for measuring the competence and integrity of financial analysts. The CFA Program is a rigorous professional development program, which involves a three-year self-study curriculum and examination process to ensure that professional standards are achieved. University graduates are eligible to enroll in the first year’s examination if they will have completed their undergraduate degree. Although there is no formal University curriculum for the exam, courses that assist students in preparing for the Level I exam are: Economics, Statistics, Financial Management, Accounting and Investments. Students interested in the CFA program are encouraged to discuss the program with Professor Robert Clark. As a CFA charter holder Dr. Clark can recommend a limited number of students for academic awards to assist with the fees involved with the first year program. For more program information please see the CFA program website. The UE Finance Club visited the CME, CBOT, and CBOE in Chicago. Check out the news story! |
