University of Evansville: The Schroeder School of Business Administration

Accounting Club

Purpose:

The University of Evansville’s Accounting Club is a student chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). It strives to enrich the experience gained in the classroom by students by providing opportunities to learn about different aspects of the accounting profession. Meeting topics have ranged from information regarding CPA review course programs, accounting Jeopardy, resume and interview advice from Career and Services, as well as guest speakers from a local partner of a small CPA firm and the director of fraud investigation at Ernst and Young. Student members can also attend the annual IMA Student Leadership Conference. All majors are welcome to be a part of IMA.
