UE dean gets new responsibilities

New job duties await Robert Clark at the University of Evansville.

On Friday the Schroeder Family dean of the School of Business Administration at UE was appointed to the newly created position of vice president for strategic initiatives.

He will assume these new responsibilities Aug. 1.

In addition, Clark will remain in his current role as dean.

Directed by UE President Stephen Jennings, he will lead the execution of UE’s strategic initiatives, while Tom Bear, vice president for enrollment services, will continue in his role in the strategic planning process.

Prior to coming to UE, Clark was associate dean of the College of Business Administration and director of the International Business Institute at Butler University.

He is a chartered financial analyst and served as a pension administrator and controller prior to his assignment at Butler University.

Clark earned a BA in Spanish, a BS in business and an MBA from the University of Maine at Orono. He received his doctorate in finance and econometrics from Purdue University.
