Business Expert Speaks with UE Students
Kent Parker, executive vice president and general manager of Ariba Global Services Organization, today met with students enrolled in Management Information Systems, Entrepreneuship Experience and the American Corporation classes. Parker is a UE graduate.
In this role, he has overall global accountability for the company’s sourcing services, category knowledge services, and procurement management services organizations.
Parker has more than 20 years of experience in business leadership and supply chain management to Ariba. Prior to Ariba, Parker held numerous positions including Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing Services at FreeMarkets, Inc., a publicly traded supply management services and software company.
Parker holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Evansville and an M.B.A from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
