Specialist with Philadelphia Stock Exchange to Speak at UE

Albert H. Brinkman, director of equity derivatives marketing for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, will discuss the "Philadelphia Stock Exchange: Challenges and Opportunities in the Changing Domestic and Global Investment Industry" during a lecture at the University of Evansville on Tuesday, Nov. 16. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 5 p.m. in Room 100 of the Koch Center for Engineering and Science.

Though this is Brinkman's second personal visit to UE, he has lectured finance majors at UE for the past 10 years via telephone presentations arranged by UE Professor of Finance Walayet Khan.

With more than 30 years of marketing experience, Brinkman has served as a trade specialist for Cassella-Vendette Group, a vice president of floor operations for Johnston, Lemon & Co. Inc. and is a member of the Philadelphia Investment Traders Association. Brinkman received his Securities Industry Institute executive education certificate from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University where he majored in Finance. Brinkman also is a retired colonel, after having served for 30 years as special operations command for the United States Army Reserve.
