School of Business Administration Hosts Etiquette Dinner for Students
The School of Business Administration hosted two evenings of fine dining at the
Evansville Petroleum Club, September 29, 30, 2004. Over dinner, Diana L. Hurt,
SPHR, Education Manager for Fifth Third Bank (Southern Indiana) presented an
etiquette training program to University seniors in business administration and
athletics. The purpose of the training was to prepare students for the social
context in which business occurs.
Student’s received a copy of Etiquette Essentials for Business
Dining for further reference. Among student's comments were the following,
"It was very interesting and helpful to find out exactly what all of the dishes,
cups and silverware are used for....Everything was very helpful."
