Finance Professor Visits Philadelphia Stock Exchange
Walayet A. Khan, Professor of Finance, recently visited the Philadelphia Stock Exchange where exchange officials briefed him concerning numerous recent initiatives taken by the exchange, including the implementation of a number of recommendations Dr. Khan had made in a study for the Exchange. Professor Khan’s securities market recommendations included the introduction of competing and remote specialists systems and demutualization of not-for-profit member’s governance structures to for profit share holder structures.
Professor Khan also participated in a seminar entitled “Optionetics” in Baltimore in which various options trading strategies were discussed.
