James (Jim) Schaefer joined the University of Evansville in 1990, after completing his Doctor of Business in Administration in Accounting from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. His main research interests are the regulation of accountants and information security. Dr. Schaefer was awarded the Dean’s Teaching Award in 2001 and the Delta Sigma Pi Professor of the Year Award in 2003 and 2004.
