Greg received the Dean’s Teaching Award in 2007 in the Schroeder Family School of Business. He was also honored as one of 12 future leaders of Indiana selected as recipients of the 2006 Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leaders by the Indiana Humanities Council. The Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leaders recognizes outstanding young Indiana leaders between the ages of 19 and 29 for their achievements in entrepreneurial, community, education, and cultural arenas and for their commitment to Indiana. Greg earned his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Management and Engineering from the University of Toledo. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Greg worked in the quality department at TRW, a tier one auto supplier, in the Fayette, OH and Detroit, MI plants and was a consultant for Tuway American Group, a $7 million dollar textile family business located in Rockford, Ohio. His classes performed six community service projects for 9-11, tornado victims of Fostoria, OH, Cystic Fibrosis, “Thank the Troops Day I & II”, and Breast Cancer.
