The Schroeder Family School of Business Administration presents the next installment of the Women's Professional Development Luncheon Series - "Giving the Perfect Professional Gift."
The luncheons are designed to connect the women of the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration with female professionals from the business community. In addition, these events assist students in cultivating the early components of career preparation through professional development and provide an environment in which students can network and establish mentorships with local businesswomen.
Have you ever wondered how you can show appreciation in a professional matter? What kinds of gifts are acceptable in a business environment? Join us and learn the answers to these questions and more. Our guest speaker will be Lucy Himstedt. Lucy is currently the Director of University Relations at our institution. She has a background in telecommunications and has worked in television since graduating from the University of Central Arkansas in the 1970’s. Before joining UE, Lucy spent eight years at 14WFIE-NBC and was the vice president and general manager of the station. In addition to her role at 14WFIE, Lucy is very involved in our community. She has a big heart for people and is well known for always giving the perfect gift. We hope that you will be able to join us for the luncheon.
